Our rub-on vinyl wall quotes are available in a large variety of colors, all made of 3mm removable matte vinyl. The vinyl is thin, yet durable, giving you the appearance of a hand-painted words and artwork.
A Few Short Descriptions On Our Most-Asked-About Vinyl Colors
Beige: A soft "oatmeal" color -we've tested this color by actually sprinkling oatmeal onto the vinyl and it's a perfect match!
Light Brown: A "fawn" color, somewhat similar to the color of cardboard
Nut Brown: A warm & spicy nutmeg shade
Chocolate: Just like it's name - the color of a Hershey bar or coffee bean
Copper: A beautiful, rich, warm color (not shiny copper penny color). Cranberry: A rich, earthy red, sometimes referred to as brick red
Lipstick: A deep pink with purple undertones
Strawberry: A pretty red with pink undertones - similar to the colors used with the toy character Strawberry Shortcake
Butter: A striking similarity to a stick of margarine or butter
Pumpkin: The shade of a pumpkin or basketball
Putty: Technically called Warm Grey, we named it this because it looks just like dry-wall putty before it has dried

Application Instructions: When you receive your order, you wall quote will be on the bottom layer, covered with application tape.

Step 1: Using a credit card or similar item, rub firmly to adhere the vinyl lettering to application tape.

Your wall quote may be applied using two different methods.

Method #1: Tape quote to wall, using a level to ensure accurate positioning. Apply tape on top edge so lettering stays in desired position. Flip the lettering up and peel backing off. Flip lettering back down and rub gently with credit card until all bubbles are out and edges are adhered to wall. This method is recommended for large applications.

Method #2: Peeling gently, remove the backing. The wall lettering will have adhered to the application tape (top layer). If it has not, repeat Step 1 above. Place your quote on the wall or surface. By gently tacking your quote to the wall, you will have the opportunity to adjust it if necessary. However, if you are applying to a mirror, use extra care as it adheres quickly and most likely will not be adjustable. Gently remove the application tape, peeling from left to right. It's that simple ~ now just sit back and enjoy your work of art!

Helpful Hints: All wall quotes may be cut apart if you find application in smaller pieces easier to handle. An X-acto knife or tip of a fingernail can also be used to "coax" the vinyl to separate from the backing paper. To remove your wall quote, simply lift one edge with your fingernail and peel gently.
