When you receive your order, your quote will be on the bottom layer, covered with application tape. It will look wrinkled - don't worry, this is normal. Step 1: Lay quote face down (white grid side/back facing up). Using a credit card or similar item, rub firmly to adhere vinyl to application tape. Step 2: Peeling gently left to right, remove the backing. The lettering will have adhered to the applicationtape (top layer). If it has not adhered completely, repeat Step 1 above. Step 3: Place your quote on the wall or surface. By gently "tacking" your quote to the wall, you will have the opportunity to adjust it if necessary. However, if you applying to a mirror or glass, use extra caution as it adheres quickly and most likely will not be adjustable. After you have placed the quote where you want it, rub firmly once again with a credit card to adhere it to the wall. Step 4: Gently remove the application tape, peeling left to right.

Helpful Hints: All quotes may be cut apart if you find application in smaller pieces easier to handle. An X-acto knife or tip of a fingernail can also be used to "coax" the vinyl to separate from the backing paper. Be sure that the wall and quote are at room temperature. If the surface is too cool, warm it gently with a blow dryer. If you have recently cleaned the wall surface, make sure there is no leftover residue and that the wall is completely dry. A wall may feel dry even though moisture is still present. A blow dryer on a low setting may also be used on the quote itself to make it more pliable and adaptable to the wall surface. To remove your quote when you wish to change your decor, warm gently with a blow dryer, then simply lift one edge with your fingernail or sharp edge and peel. If any residue remains, you may use rubbing alcohol to remove.
